Candice Kumai

Originally from San Diego, Candice grew up in California with plenty of sunshine and surfing. Her passions are fashion and food. She spent 8 years travelling the world as a model, enjoying the glamorous world of celebrity, but soon realised that cooking was her calling. Her introduction to cooking was with her mother and grandmothers, where she learned all the basics and ignited her love of food.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communication she decided to turn pro and trained at the top Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts. Candice achieved celebrity status among her classmates being names ‘Top of the Class’ and making both the Presidents List and Deans List.

Cooking at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Beach, CA helped to further her experience before appearing on TV. Candice has taken part in Bravo’s ‘Top Chef’, and is now presenting TV show Cook Yourself Thin on Lifetime, alongside Harry Eastwood and Allison Fishman.

Classy, bubbly and always fun, Candice loves fashion, friends and great food. Her ambition is to become the food and lifestyle guru of her generation.
